Scholarships

Started in 2000, the Scholarship Fund is the flagship program of the Hispanic Alliance of Southeastern Connecticut. Since its founding, over 300 Scholarships have been awarded and over 85% are the first generation in their families to have the opportunity to attend college/university.  The scholarship is available for eligible residents from New London County.

2021 Application for Returning or Current College Applicants

Applications for 2021 are accepted starting November 15, 2020 - to midnight March 1, 2021.   Selected students will be notified by April 15, 2021

Hispanic Alliance scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors and post-secondary Latinx students from New London County who are continuing their education and who demonstrate excellence in at least one of the following areas: leadership, community service or academic achievement (financial need is taken into consideration).  All majors and graduate fields accepted, however, some wards emphasize STEM majors.   For more information please contact us via email at scholarships@hispanicalliancesect.org.
